He threw the knife at his wife:
Missed her but broke the looking glass
How does a thrown knife effect his life?
7 years of bad luck for his ass.
A mirror shattered into a thousand pieces;
A thousand different reflections;
A history which never ceases.
A future with infinite refractions.
She took a look at her life.
What she saw made her sad.
Instead of being the good wife,
She saw herself as bad.
A mirror shattered into a thousand pieces;
A thousand different reflections;
A mystery which never ceases;
A future with infinite refractions.
He played with his pistol sometimes,
But he never thought about killing.
Then, she pissed him off for the last time.
Last memory–the trigger he was pulling.
A mirror shattered into a thousand pieces;
A thousand different reflections;
A mystery which never ceases;
A future with infinite refractions.
So powerful a portrayal of tragedy Ron.
That shattering image truly displays the moment when things to go all to hell.
For most of us those moments are instances when we can just look back and say ‘What was I thinking of! That was stupid’. You’ve encapsulated the interlude when the event goes one step further and we are left thinking ‘Why?’

Thanks. I took this from an event I witnessed as a child and used a little poetic license but things like this happen daily

I salute you for placing that memory into words Ron, it’s not always easy.
Keep up the good work.
And Sheila and I are thinking of you and yours are this testing time for the majority of the people of the USA.
God be with you.

Uhhh……with all of my Halloween shenanigans, I missed this masterpiece, and the other two.
Can we switch to this one?
There is so much meat here! We could go in sooooooo many directions. Let’s do it!
