She’s a Real Mother for Ya
by Ron Brown
My Mother is a real Mother for ya—yeah.
You don’t need to look too hard to discover—nah.
That she’s a mother that’s like no other—yeah
She’s a sho-nuff real Mother for ya.
My Mother, she a real Mother for ya.
My Mother, she ain’t no fake, fake, fake.
Like the river she’s a giver, giver, giver.
Not the kind that just take, take, take.
My Mother is a real Mother for ya—yeah.
You don’t need to look too far to discover—nah.
That her love is deeper than any other—Ma.
She’s the real deal Mother for ya—yeah.
All her children know she’s a real Mother for ya.
She gives them all of her love, love, love.
Every drop; it never stops, stops, stops.
Like golden raindrops from above, above, above.
